Biography

Julianne Ani is a Research Associate with the Quality Measurement team at Yale/CORE. She earned her BA in Psychology from Muhlenberg College and her MPH from Temple University. While at Temple, she investigated barriers to palliative care and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant testing online support groups for women with breast cancer. Prior to graduate school, she was a Clinical Research Assistant and Therapist at Thomas Jefferson University where she tested psychosocial therapies for coping with vision loss due to age-related macular degeneration and managed multi-national clinical drug trials for stroke patients. Her research interests include health disparities, health literacy, palliative care, oncology, chronic illness, and quality of life issues.
