Biography

Kelly Campbell is a jack-of-all-trades with a wide range of interests, as her academic pursuits can attest. She earned an AA in Art with minors in Biblical Studies and English from York College in Nebraska where she was recognized as the schools 'Outstanding Artist' in 1984. She completed a third year in Art Education at Freed-Hardeman University in Tennessee and spent a fourth year dabbling in courses like Entrepreneurial Business and Psychology. Kelly has a passion for cooking and has fond memories of her days as a short order cook in college. She spent several years in Los Angeles doing accounting and client relations at an Attorney Service which provided court filing services and service of process for area law firms. Later she returned to her alma mater, managing their Federal Perkins Loan program. She has been at Yale since April of 1998 and at the YSPH Dean's Office since 2001, where she specializes in events. She is the Scout Master for a New Haven Boy Scout troop, and oversees the children's education program at her church in Stamford, CT. On the weekends when not camping with her troop, Kelly is in the kitchen cooking with her husband, working on some new artistic venture, out in her garden or walking the beach.
