Biography

Linda V Jackson, Director of the Yale School of Medicine Office of Diversity, Inclusion, Community Engagement, and Equity (DICE), received her Bachelors of Science in Human Services from Springfield College and Masters of Science in Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University. Linda is an active member of the National Association of Medical Minority Educators, Inc. (NAMME), where she currently hold the position of regional director and the National Association of Advisors of the Health Professions, Inc. (NAAHP). Linda manages various programs from elementary school through medical school for underrepresented students and those from disadvantaged back groups interested in or pursing a career in the field of medical or biomedical research. She is involved in the recruitment and retention of students from disadvantages background for the School of Medicine and supports student affinity groups.

Linda has been a licensed foster parent for over 20 years and enjoys mentoring teen aged girls. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling to the Caribbean Islands.
